You know what time it is…
WHAT?
It’s time for another ghetto-fabulous Saturday.
Bring on the savings.
A lot of good Amazon deals today. Seriously, check it out: they’ve got a Buy 2, Get 1 deal on a list of already discounted Blu-rays. They also have up to 60% off of this list of DVDs, up to 63% off select HBO titles, up to 60% off of this list, up to 47% off on this one, up to 40% off Dragon Dynasty DVDs (for you martial arts fans), up to 30% off select music box-sets, and they’re running something called an Indie Sale. Those of you planning on purchasing Batman: Arkham Asylum, here is coupon for Amazon that not only lowers the price to forty-eight dollars, but also offers free shipping and a free comic book (The Road to Arkham, a.k.a. the prequel to the game). If you’re planning on selling any games any time soon, you might want to think about this deal, which gives you an extra thirty-dollar credit on your trade-in at Amazon. And finally, Futurama fans, here is all four seasons and all four movies both on DVD and both for the low price of fifty-four dollars (and change). Tons at Amazon.
Lollapalooza’s website is offering a 1-year free subscription to SPIN magazine. So, if that’s what you’re into, now’s your chance.
Steam is running another sale this weekend, this time on all Valve games. Check it out. If you get the whole bundle, you can save almost a hundred bucks.
Ever shop at half.com? You should. You can find lots of stuff dirt cheap. So kick it off right with this link, which has tons of coupons for five dollars off for first time buyers and ten dollars off of a one-hundred dollar purchase.
Buy.com offers fifteen dollars off of and free shipping for this NES/SNES game system. That’s right, it plays NES and SNES cartridges. (They also have Buffy: The Vampire Hunter Complete Series, for $125.73, as well as 51% off select Blu-rays.)
eForCity has a Wireless Wii sensor bar, for $5.99 (with free shipping!).
Here’s an interesting one. The Barnes and Noble credit card. Perks: a $25 Gift card upon registration, one extra point per dollar on all purchases, an extra five percent off at B&N (stacks with the membership card), and more $25 gift cards every time you accumulate 2,500 points. Just make sure you keep that thing paid off.
This weekend only, Best Buy has a coupon for ten percent off of selected items.
Sometimes a deal is just too good to pass up. Such is the case with Jet Blue’s All-You-Can-Jet deal. Fly to fifty-seven different cities (national and international) between September 8th to October 8th for only $599. Pretty sweet, right? Another perk? Free in-flight movies (just bring your own headphones).
Well, that about wraps up our second $$R. With all of these savings, you can finally afford to see District 9 AND Ponyo this weekend.
