I am also glad to see the series get a breath of fresh air. For the first time since season 1 (maybe even moreso than season 1), Dexter has a truly disturbed nemesis. Yeah, he's taken out sickos by the dozen before, but Lithgow may be the Buffalo Bill of the Dexter series.

I still want to see Deb's face smashed in with a brick (all the way back to season 1, when I was hopeful Dex would take her out). Quinn can get run over by an ice cream truck for all I care, though it is nice to have SOMEONE in Miami's finest looking at Dex oddly. Though Doakes was much better suited for the role.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the season, something I haven't done since Season 1. Bring it, Lithgow!

Glad you guys enjoyed the art for this article...let's just say that the title had a lot to do with the inspiration. I also agree that I don't see this series going past seven seasons, and for me that's actually a good thing. Not all stories need to go on forever. I see a very dramatic and life changing conclusion to all of this. I hope NL (Naked Lithgow) can inject the darkness that the series has been moving away from - seems like the balance has been teetering a tad towards humor and predictability for a while now. Regardless, with all my cons, there is still plenty for a Dexter fan to snack on, so I will definitely keep watching, if only to see what's going to happen next.

The series can go on, and I think will go into a sixth or seventh season. Lithgow's character is definately a breath of fresh air giving Dexter a true nemesis since the first season. I thought he might have said "repulsive" about the flavor of ice cream he got on his arm, but I might have misheard. Awesome article BTW along with the great comic cover! Maybe they will let us do an actual comic?

Awesome. I'm afraid to look so far as to say, "will there be a next season", but I do believe Lithgow, and even Harrison will help guarantee a overall success of season 4. As for Deb, and Quin...and everyone else really, (save Masuka) I can't say. I hope Jennifer Carpenter plays her awkwardness a little more subtly as the season goes on. I feel like she's very earnest and she works hard (which is not only an act!), but she needs to relax a little on the cheese.
